After l’Orient comes l’Occident, the western version in this series.

Here I was exploring architectural forms and typically European & North American patterns, intermingled in an abstract urban jumble. Funnily enough I find this design expresses how I felt living in New York, a sort of cultural and visual overload! I think I need to sit on this one for a while to see how it grows on me…

    Your work in this ‘tangle’ is gorgeous! What control of your hand and pen you have as well as the balance of light/dark and shades inbetween, and pattern balance and choice. Yes, I am blown away! Thank you so much for sharing your artistic work!
